Diversity?? I think not

Dear Editor,

I am a former Morristown resident and was sent the recent article regarding the Borough’s Diversity Task Force. My initial reaction was "that sounds nice". The end of the article mentions the Boy Scout troop and their planned bonfire which I assume the town will be spending tax dollars to support and provide safety coverage for the fire...not to mention it being held on public property.

I was not able to determine this chapter’s stance on gay scouts but if the Boy Scouts of America policy is any indicator, then how can the Town Council recommend diversity training on one hand and provide support to an organization that is anything but all inclusive.
