New Providence Chiropractic Declares 2010 a Miracle Year for Wellness
By New Providence Chiropractic
12/26/2009

Dr. Mark Schlobohm, Director of New Providence Chiropractic, declares 2010 a Miracle Year For Wellness. "In these difficult economic times, it is even more important to make health a priority. Stress and rising health care costs have had a major effect on all of us", comments Dr. Schlobohm. "Clinical research shows that the majority of chronic illnesses in the United States, such as heart disease, some cancers, diabetes, obesity, back pain, neck pain and headaches can be avoided by preventative health care. 75% of an individual’s health after age 40 is dependent on lifestyle and not genetic predisposition to these major illnesses."

A Miracle Year for Wellness will first target a cure for pediatric brain tumors. "I urge you to join me in the fight against brain tumors. We need to bring attention to this under-funded disease. My niece Sydney was eight years old when she was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma. She passed away six months later. It’s too late for Sydney; however, our family continues to support those working to find a cure. Sydney’s courage inspires us to take action in the fight against brain tumors." To view her story please visit: www.braintumorcommunity.org/sydney.

"During the Miracle Year of Wellness we will be conducting fund raising events for cures that afflict our most important asset, our children, while helping the community achieve better health with Chiropractic care. Several times throughout the year we will exchange our services for donations to find cures for pediatric illnesses. We will also continue to raise funds for the Make a Wish foundation as they help children by granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions."

"New Providence Chiropractic has always strived to be leaders in promoting wellness and helping a greater cause." comments Dr. Schlobohm. New Providence Chiropractic will open its doors to the public during the weeks of January 11th through January 30th for all new patients. New patients will receive a Health Consultation, Chiropractic Examination, X rays (if necessary), plus a Report of Findings (on a subsequent visit) to discuss your test results and findings. All these services are provided at a minimum donation of $25.00 to the National Brain Tumor Society. This is regularly a $350.00 value.

"I’m pleased to give the community my services as a Thank You for contributing to this cause. This is a great time to start the New Year feeling better. Join our Miracle Year for Wellness and help us find a cure!
