Bob Stein of Livingston, a director of the Wharton Club of New Jersey and a partner in the New York City accounting firm of Stein, deVisser and Mintz PC, and A. Raj Kumar of Branchburg, treasurer of the club and a chief investment officer in the Branchburg investment firm of SageInvest, Inc., will discuss personal tax and investment strategies December 2, 2009, 6 p.m., at Cucina Calandra in Fairfield.
Stein will focus on year-end tax planning for individuals and provide insights regarding tax savings. Kumar will review the current U.S. economic outlook and suggest appropriate investment strategies.9 Cost to attend the event, which is open to the public and includes a buffet dinner, is $60 for Wharton Club of New Jersey members, $70 for members’ guests and $80 for non-members who register by Dec. 1. Pre-registration is required.
