A relaxing evening of live music, desserts and good company are on the calendar for 7 pm., Friday, December 18 at Trinity Covenant Church, 343 E. Cedar St. in Livingston. Their "Christmas Coffeehouse" is the brainchild of Moses Pinheiro, former music director at the church and now a musician in Nashville, TN. Moses’ band, along with other artists, will perform at the Coffeehouse and keep the evening flowing along with the coffee and hot chocolate.
"We’re preparing a program that will range from ‘White Christmas’ to original music," said Pinheiro. "The evening’s atmosphere will be positive, relaxing and fun for everyone."
Other musicians will also participate, including Ben Russo, current music director at Trinity and recent graduate from Ithaca University in Jazz Studies.
"Last year’s Christmas coffeehouse was such a relaxing and pleasant time," says Pastor Susan Gillespie. "The music was so much fun and the food was great, and it was such a ‘no-pressure’ event. Everyone in need of a slow-down-and-enjoy evening should save this date."
Admission is free.
For more information about the Coffeehouse, or other programs at the church, visit their web site at www.TrinityCovenantChurch.com, or call the office at 973-992-4044.
