By The Rubino OB/GYN Group 11/3/2009
|
|
Doctors across New Jersey, for the second year in a row, have chosen Dr. Robert Rubino as an OB/GYN of choice in the November "Top Doc" issue of New Jersey Monthly.
Dr. Rubino, founder of The Rubino OB/GYN Group, is one of the most experienced and innovative surgeons in the NY Metropolitan area and is nationally recognized for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. He leads a full-service, technically advanced, OBGYN practice with offices in West Orange, Summit, Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ (opening soon).
Since being selected last year, Dr Rubino has been active with advancements in women’s health. His primary focus is reducing hysterectomies for women suffering with heavy mensus. As an expert on Her Option® Cryoablation Therapy, a safe and simple 15-minute, in-office procedure for women with heavy, painful periods, he invented the "Clock Technique" to improve the outcome and shorten the time of the procedure. Dr. Rubino published a research paper on his findings and presented his data to a national scientific meeting in NYC in April, 2009. He tours the Northeast giving lectures to doctors on how to perform this new technique. In addition, Dr. Rubino has realized a career goal of opening a state of the art surgery center in Florham Park this year and is a member of the Board of Directors.
The Rubino OB/GYN practice continues to add innovative, non-invasive therapies, among which is "Interstim" a technology focused on helping women with Overactive Bladder Syndrome and Essure®, an in-office procedure for permanent birth control, which is 99.95% effective and replaces tubal ligation. The practice also provides 3D/4D Ultrasound technology, enabling their doctors to personally interpret, perform and read ultrasound images.
Keeping ahead of the healthcare industry trends, the office uses EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and offers a highly interactive website offering online appointments, virtual office consultations, personal health records and educational information.
Dr. Rubino’s dedication to medicine includes staffing the best medical talent available and remaining active in healthcare as Assistant Clinical Professor of OBGYN at UMDNJ-NJMS, member of the Advisory board of the OBGYN Alliance, a Fellow of the American College of OBGYN, Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and President of the City of Summit Board of Health. www.rubinoobgyn.com 973-736-1100.
