On March 3rd, 2010 at approximately 3:48 p.m., Patrolman Sean Plumstead arrested 23 year old Jeremy Worrall of Sicklerville N.J. and charged him with possession of a schedule 1 narcotic, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ptl. Plumstead initially stopped Worrall for driving while using a cell phone. He determined Worrall was in possession of narcotics. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released pending a court appearance. Worrall was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while using a cell phone.

On March 3rd, 2010 at approximately 9:33 p.m., Patrolman Ken Shannon arrested 19 year old Allison Hooghuis of Metuchen N.J. and 18 year old Lisa Pridgen of Stanhope N.J. He charged Hooghuis with being under the influence of alcohol under the age of 21. Pridgen was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within school property, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of alcohol while under the legal age. Ptl. Shannon initially stopped them for acting suspicious in a parking lot. They were both transported to headquarters for processing. After processing they were both released pending a court appearance.

On March 4th 2010 at approximately 2:16 p.m., Patrolman Kevin Boone arrested 20 year old Pedro Calderon of Morristown N.J. and charged him with theft of jewelry items from a residential home. Calderon was located at the residence. Ptl. Boone determined he had taken the jewelry from the home while working there. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After Processing he was taken to the Morris County Correctional facility in lieu of $10,000.00 bail. Detective John Miscia assisted in the investigation.

On March 5th, 2010 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Patrolman Paul Kosakowski arrested 39 year old Robb Moritz of Morris Township N.J. and charged him with simple assault and criminal mischief. Ptl. Kosakowski was initially called to an apartment building by a resident who reported Moritz kicked and broke her door. He determined that Moritz was responsible for the damage. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000.00 bail. He was also charged with simple assault.

On March 5th, 2010 at 10:54 p.m., Patrolman Craig Perrelli arrested 20 year old George Cole of Belmar N.J. on the strength of a $369.00 traffic warrant. Ptl. Perrelli initially stopped Cole for speeding, he then ran a computer check on his driver’s license and was alerted that there was an active warrant. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released pending a court appearance. He was also issued motor vehicle summons for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

On March 5th, 2010 at approximately 8:23 p.m., James Cavezza arrested 19 year old Brendan Skeehan of Clarksburg N.J. and charged him with possession of schedule 1 narcotics, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ptl. Cavezza responded to Drew University to assist Drew Public Safety officers who located the narcotics in Skeehan’s dorm room. Ptl. Cavezza determined he was in possession of the narcotics. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After Processing he was released pending a court appearance.

On March 6th, 2010 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Patrolman Matt Mirabella arrested 24 year old Michael Thompson of Madison N.J. and charged him with simple assault. Ptl. Mirabella was initially called to the residence when the victim walked into police headquarters to report he was struck with a chair by Thompson. Ptl. Mirabella determined that Thompson did assault the victim with the chair. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After Processing he was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500.00 bail.

On March 6th, 2010 at approximately 11:56 a.m., Patrolwoman Lisa Esposito arrested 28 year old Michael Arminio of Berkley Heights N.J. and charged him with shoplifting. Ptlw. Esposito responded to a store on Main Street after store employees observed Arminio placing liquor bottles inside his pants. Pltw. Esposito determined Arminio was shoplifting. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was release pending a court appearance.

On March 6th, 2010 at approximately 3:30 a.m. , Patrolman Paul Kosakowski arrested 20 year old Jon Matkowski of Madison N.J. and charged him with driving while under the influence. Ptl. Kosakowski initially stopped Matkowski for disregarding a red traffic signal. He determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released to a family member. He was also issued motor vehicle summons for speeding, driving while using a cell phone, and careless driving.

On March 7th, 2010 at approximately 2:19 a.m., Patrolman Paul Kosakowski arrested 51 year old Robert Griese of Madison N.J. and charged him with driving while under the influence. Ptl. Kosakowski initially stopped Griese for disregarding a red traffic signal. He determined that Griese was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released to a friend. He was also issued motor vehicle summons for disregarding a red traffic signal and careless driving.

On March 8th, 2010 at approximately 2:12 a.m., Sgt. Peter Iossa arrested 35 year old Oscar Achola of East Stroudsburg PA and charged him with driving while under the influence. Sgt. Iossa initially stopped Achola for failure to maintain a lane. He determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released to a friend. He was also issued motor vehicle summons for careless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
