February 17, 2010: A Central Ave. business reported windows broken during the overnight.

February 17, 2010: An Evergreen Ave. resident reported the theft of a license plate. February 18, Numerous juveniles were reported trespassing at a South Street business.

February 18, 2010: Sgt. Ventre arrested David M. Davis, age 46 of Chatham, on an outstanding criminal warrant from Union Twp.

February 18, 2010: A Central Avenue residence was reported burglarized, jewelry was reportedly taken from a bedroom.

February 19, 2010: A Gales Drive resident reported money taken from a Credit Union Account.

February 19, 2010: An Osborne Ave. resident reported being the victim of harassment.

February 20, 2010: A bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle while riding on South Street. He was transported to Overlook Hospital.

February 20, 2010: A resident reported a suspicious incident, two girls were walking a dog when an older male with a dog in the car slowed down and smiled at them. No further description was available. Patrols were unable to locate the car.

February 20, 2010: Patrols located a vehicle with fictitious Massachusetts license plates abandoned on Sulfrian Road. The car was towed.

February 20, 2010: Augusto Chaves, age 33 of Newark was arrested by Ptlm. Labaska on numerous criminal and traffic warrants.

February 20, 2010: Juveniles were removed from a South Street business for trespassing.

February 21, 2010: A juvenile was taken into custody for throwing objects at a car.

February 22, 2010: A hit and run was reported at a Springfield Avenue apartment complex.

February 23, 2010: Ptlm. Diamond arrested Jessica Norman, age 23 of Newark, for presenting a fraudulent insurance card.

February 23, 2010: Cpl.Opalewski arrested Daniel P. Mahoney, age 21 of New Providence, on an outstanding warrant from Union.

February 24, 2010: The Street sign for Providence and High Street was reported stolen.

February 24, 2010: A laptop computer was reported stolen from the boy’s locker room at New Providence High School.

February 24, 2010: Allison Killian, age 23 of New Providence, satisfied a warrant from Avon By The Sea, after a motor vehicle stop by Ptlm. Sretenovic.

February 24, 2010: Ptlm. Sretenovic charged Jose Perez, age 44 of Newark, with driving while suspended.
